Chelsea is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and the Owner of Project Self Holistic Therapy Ltd. Chelsea is passionate about perinatal and reproductive health, due to her own journey with infertility, miscarriages, and birth trauma. Chelsea holds specific training and certification in working with the perinatal (Pre and postpartum) population. Chelsea is certified in reproductive health and fertility, and is able to provide third-party reproductive counselling sessions for those working with fertility clinics. If you feel like you are struggling with grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, infertility, Chelsea uses a person-centred, trauma-informed lens to hold space when sitting with you. Brad is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and welcomes clients 16+. Brad works collaboratively with clients to help develop their ability to self-advocate and explore their unique strengths. Brad understands the significant impact trauma can have on mental health and integrates a trauma-informed framework into his practice. When Brad is not counselling, you will likely find him paddle boarding, curled up on the couch with a good movie, on a hiking trail, tending to his garden, or spending time with loved ones. Read more

Gina Marie is certified Canadian Counsellor (CCC) and a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Gina Marie embodies an anti-oppressive, feminist, trauma-informed framework. Gina Marie likes to work different modalities that support a compassionate and curious approach, such a nature-informed therapy, art therapy, and Walk & Talk therapy. Courtney is a Registered Clinical Counsellor who provides counselling to children, 4, and youth up to the age of 30. Courtney utilizes a child-centred play therapy model, expressive arts, to provide a safe, non-judgmental space to allow clients to freely express themselves whether through play, art, or words. Play is the language which children communicate and play therapy is grounded in the belief that children explore their worlds with play in order to resolve conflicts, develop self-esteem, and support emotional regulation. Annie has been a practicing counsellor for over 20 years and finds this work rewarding and fulfilling. Annie has experience with depression, burnout, trauma, and any life challenge that requires a warm, compassionate space to process, reflect, be challenged, and grow. Annie also offers clinical supervision for counsellors. Her approach is supportive, reflective, and honouring the process therapy. About You

If you are passionate about supporting clients with curiosity, compassion, a trauma-informed lens, as well as work alongside a tiny puppy named Annie (hypoallergenic), then joining Project Self will be an incredible practice to become a part of. You will have flexibility in your work schedule and determine your own hours.

Qualifications

  • Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) designation with the BCACC or Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) designation with (CCPA)
  • Registered Social Worker (RSW) with BCASW
  • Registered Massage Therapist
  • Registered Chiropractor
  • Registered Acupuncturist
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Group supervision offered and provided by discipline

Compensation

Highly competitive split as this is a self-employed, independent contract position.
